How can we help?
Answers to the usual questions. If yours is not here, write to thekamdude@gmail.com and say which version of macOS you use.
How do I open Copyccino?
Press ⇧⌘V in any app, or choose Show Overlay from the cup in the menu bar. You can choose another shortcut in Settings › Shortcuts. Opening Copyccino again from Applications or Spotlight shows your clips too.
How do I paste a clip?
Choose a card with the arrow keys or a click, then press Return or double-click it. Hold ⌥ to paste plain text. ⌘1–⌘9 paste the chosen clip and the eight after it, and you can drag any card straight into another app.
Why does Copyccino ask for Accessibility access?
To paste, Copyccino puts the clip on the clipboard and presses ⌘V in the app you were using, and macOS only allows that with Accessibility access. Copyccino shows you where to switch it on in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility. Without it you can still copy a clip with ⌘C and paste it yourself.
Does Copyccino keep my passwords?
No. Copies that password managers mark as concealed are never recorded. Copies that look like passwords are also left out by default; you can change that in Settings › Capture, and any kept one shows masked on its card.
Where is my history kept?
In your user folder, under Library › Application Support › Copyccino. It never leaves your Mac unless you turn on iCloud sync in Settings › iCloud, which keeps your history and pinboards in step across your Macs through your own iCloud account.
How do I change the layout?
From the cup in the menu bar or Settings › Overlay: Railway, Clothesline, Globe, Assembly or Circle. You can also set a shortcut that cycles through them.
Can I keep some apps out of my history?
Yes. Add them under Settings › Capture › Excluded apps, or pause capture from the menu bar whenever you like.
